Dying and Finishing Recycled Aramid Fabrics

Recycled aramid knit and/or woven fabrics are dyed and finished using the same process as fabrics comprised of only virgin fibres. 

 

Dye formulas and dye temperatures are adjusted depending on the fibre blend created so that the virgin Meta aramid fibres, Para aramid fibres, Modacrylic fibres, and nylons are dyed correctly. This is a normal part of procedure for any dye house familiar with aramids.
