Safety Standards

The safety of your employees is our top priority. Our recycled FR fabrics match or outperform virgin FR fabrics of similar weight and composition in flash fire thermal insulation testing (manikin burn test) and arc flash certification.

All recycled FR fabrics produced are third party independently certified with Groupe CTT in Quebec, Kinectrics in Ontario, and the Protective Clothing & Equipment Research Facility (PCERF) at the University of Alberta.  All of GR’s recycled fabrics have met, at a minimum, the necessary flash fire and arc flash protection requirements, CGSB 155.20, NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E PPE2 (HRC2). UL certification and testing to additional standards can be done as required.
